Paul Brown has confirmed that West Ham United are in a race to sign Michael Keane from Everton.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, the journalist admitted that the Hammers will reportedly get the defender's signature in January.
The 29-year-old is under contract at Goodison Park until 2025, however, following the lack of playing time the player faces in Frank Lampard's pecking order, he could find his way out for regular football.
In an interview (quoted by CaughOffside), Brown discussed the potential switch of the former Manchester United center-back to London.
“I think he’s quite an underrated player who would fit quite well into that back four, I could see this one happening.
“There’s a deal to be done there, definitely. If West Ham want him badly enough, I think they’ll get him in January.”
