Jose Mourinho hailed for teaching Mikel Arteta a lesson

Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg has hailed Jose Mourinho for giving Mikel Arteta a tactical lesson in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon. Spurs beat the Gunners 2-0 in the Premier League at the weekend, returning to the top of the table while Arteta’s side are foundering in 15th. Arsenal dominated possession and had more chances in the game, but it was still a reasonably comfortable victory for Spurs, with goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane handing them the three points. Mourinho was happy to give up the ball and keep their opponents out having established the two-goal lead and Ljungberg feels Arteta must learn from another painful defeat. Speaking to Sky Sports, Ljungberg said: "I haven’t recovered yet. It was tough but Mourinho gave us a lesson in how to play a tactical game. It was interesting but it still hurts. I thought Spurs, I didn’t think they would be that far ahead or top of the league to be honest. "But you look at Mourinho, he’s got them inspired, his players are all doing what he wants them to do which I think is the hardest thing when you play the kind of football he does. "Hats off to him, they’re doing really, really well." Source- Metro Join us on Telegram
