Joao Cancelo has taken to Instagram to send a message following Manchester City's defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
The Reds hosted City in the Premier League and celebrated a 1-0 victory. The only goal of the game was scored by Mohamed Salah.
Following the game, Cancelo took to Instagram and wrote: "Every mistake you make is progress #mommyblessme."
City continue to be second in the league table, while the Reds are 8th.
