Jamie Vardy has revealed he is "getting there" in his return from injury as he steps up his work on the training pitch.
The Leicester City striker has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the 1-0 win against Liverpool at the end of December.
The initial diagnosis said that the striker would face around "three to four weeks" out but that was increased to eight weeks at the start of last month. However, it was confirmed that he didn't need an operation, something which would have put him out for longer.
And ahead of his return, Vardy has shared an update of his rehabilitation
on social media.
A video posted on his Instagram account shows Vardy being put through his paces in individual sessions, which include running on the grass and work in the gym at City’s Seagrave Training Centre. Vardy simply wrote: “Getting there.”
