Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Alexander Isak could become one of the best strikers in the world if he keeps his current form.
Despite not putting his name on the scoresheet against Manchester United, the 23-year-old was one of the key factors in the Magpies' 2 - 0 at St. James' Park.
Sweden international joined the Premier League outfit in the summer of 2022 from Real Sociedad and in his debut season, due to injuries, the player made a total of eleven domestic appearances scoring six goals.
Speaking via CaughtOffside, the pundit admitted there are not many 'nines' who can show the qualities Isak is showing with his recent performances.
“Alexander Isak could be a world star. He has so much quality – he possesses all the attributes.
“There aren’t many number nines in the world who can do what he can do.”
