Former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher believes Chelsea will be unable to win a Premier League title this season unless they add a new goalkeeper to their ranks. The Blues have been the Premier League's big spenders so far this summer. They have signed Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech of Ajax and Germany international Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. The trio have also been joined in making the switch to Stamford Bridge by Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr.
Chelsea are still without one necessary addition to make a title charge possible. That is according to Sky Sports pundit Carragher, who is urging the Blues to add a new goalkeeper to their ranks before the transfer window closes in a little over a month's time
Carragher, as quoted by the Metro, explained: "Chelsea had to buy four players, I get that. But if they don’t reinforce in the goalkeeping situation, I don’t see much change for them really in terms of where they will finish."
