Manchester United academy midfielder James Garner has sent the first-team message to the club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, reminding of his potential after his international goal.
The youngster is considered as one of the best academy players ready to play for the United’s senior squad. The 18-year-old has scored six goals during his seven appearances for the club’s Under-21 and Under-23 teams.
Yet, he took part in England’s Under-19 3 - 1 defeat to France, scoring the only goal for the England squad.
However, Solskjaer still hasn’t included him to his team’s games this season, giving the chance to other youngsters such as Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Brandon Williams.
Now, as the Red Devils experience an unsuccessful season, Garner is more possible to join the first team in order to improve the club’s game.
Garner will be on international duty again for England squad against Belgium on Saturday.
