After winning Champions League titles with Porto and Inter Milan, and domestic championships with Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United, it might be the case that José Mourinho leaves Europe this summer.
Currently a head coach at AS Roma, Mourinho will host the Dutch club Feyenoord at Stadio Olimpico on April 20. The result of the return leg of the Europa League quarterfinal will determine the Portuguese manager’s future in the continent.
Although his contract is set to expire in 2024, Mourinho could leave the Italian team if they get defeated on Thursday. The celebrated manager has received multiple offers from around the world. Without any surprise, the richest offer of all has been proposed by Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassir following the event of sacking Rudi Garcia. In Ronaldo’s current club, the Special One can receive 60 million euros for a two-year deal.
Nevertheless, it is important to note that nothing has been decided yet, and Mourinho might as well return to Premier League if he receives an offer from Chelsea. The 60-year-old coach is often referred to as one of the greatest Chelsea coaches after making Stamford Bridge his home in 2004-2007 and 2013-2015.
