Ian Wright has urged Chelsea to sign Victor Osimhen as their new number-nine in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been on a hot streak this season, impressing everyone with his performances. His stunning record of 23 goals in Serie A has helped Napoli to secure their first league title win in 33 years, making him one of the most in-demand targets in Europe.
However, Romelu Lukaku, on loan at Inter Milan, still remains on the West London outfit's roster. Wright thinks that Chelsea should bring the Belgian striker back to Stamford Bridge, especially since Mauricio Pochettino is expected to take over the club soon.
Speaking on his Ringer FC Podcast (via the Metro), the former striker has talked about Lukaku's potential return and Osimhen's future, leaving fans eager to see where the Nigerian star will end up next season.
“I wonder where he’s going to end up? It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chelsea. They’re going to try and get him I think.”
“The word on the street is that Mauricio Pochettino wants him back.
“He’s got unfinished business here, he’s got massive unfinished business here. If I was him, I would love to know I’m going back there and I can shut a few people up. He’s got to do that. He owes it to himself to try.”
