"I would say yes" - Fabrizio Romano claims 'amazing' Spurs star is 'ready to leave' in January

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Dele Alli is ‘ready to leave’ Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window. Speaking to Give Me Sport, the Italian football journalist was asked if he could see him leaving Spurs in this month’s window to join his former boss in Mauricio Pochettino at PSG or another club. “Dele Alli wants to leave, Dele Alli wants to play, but it’s not that wants to leave Tottenham just because of Tottenham, he loves the club. He loved the atmosphere, he loved the fans, obviously but he wants to leave because he wants to play he needs to play and that’s why his agent is working with some clubs interested," said Romano. “Pay attention to Paris Saint-Germain I would say yes, because Pochettino has a special relationship with the player, so it can be an option. At the moment, there is nothing advanced with Paris Saint-Germain. So to be honest, Paris Saint-Germain are still waiting and as we say, they are focusing on Mbappe and Neymar’s contracts, but for sure, if Dele Alli will have a chance to leave the club in January, Paris Saint-Germain can be one of the clubs interested. “I think next week will be important for Dele Alli to understand if he’s leaving or not, but for sure Paris Saint-Germain can be an option because of Pochettino and I have to tell you, if Pochettino can choose between Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, two amazing players he had with him at Tottenham and they are ready to leave their clubs in this January, he would prefer that Dele Alli over Christian Eriksen.” The 24-year-old has only played in a mere 11 games overall competitions so far in the 2020/21 season and has not yet completed a full 90 minutes (Transfermarkt).
