Matty Cash has confirmed he is set to miss Aston Villa's match against Southampton on September 16.
The 25-year-old took over his Instagram account to send a message to fans, claiming he'll be miss Poland International's duty in September.
“Due to an injury I will not take part in the September meeting of the Polish national team. Rehabilitation is going well, but I won’t be able to recover for the forthcoming matches. Good luck to the team and I will keep my fingers crossed for the team.” added Cash.
However, there are no exact details and possible return dates of the right-back's injury, as Steven Gerrard is set to hold a pre-match conference ahead of the Southampton match.
