Jorginho has encountered difficulties in securing regular playing minutes at Arsenal this season, as manager Mikel Arteta has shown a preference for other midfield options.
The Italian midfielder arrived at the Emirates in January following the Gunners' unsuccessful pursuit of Moises Caicedo. In the latter part of the previous season, Jorginho played a crucial role, contributing significantly to the club's title push.
However, in the current season, he has struggled to cement a place in the starting lineup and has often been on the bench, going unused in several matches.
The North Londoners have just kicked off their European campaign, and they also have upcoming fixtures in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season.
These competitions could offer the Brazilian opportunities to get on the field. Despite his limited playing time and reported interest from other clubs, the former Chelsea star remains resolute in his dedication to prepare diligently for the chances he gets, with a strong determination to make a meaningful impact when the opportunity finally arises.
“There are many matches and I just have to be ready when the time comes.
“We need to continue working on the path we have taken. There is a lot of room for improvement but I think we are on the right path.” stated the midfielder via Gianluca di Marzio.
