"I don’t miss London": Former Chelsea manager makes admission as he enjoys his new role

Frank Lampard has admitted he doesn't miss London after making a move to Liverpool t take charge over Everton.

The former England international was appointed as his beloved Chelsea's manager, guiding the Blues to a fourth-place finish in the Premier League and an FA Cup final where his side lost to Manchester City 4–3 on penalties.

However, Lampard's time didn't last long at Stamford Bridge. Following his poor performances back-then owner Roman Abramovich replaced him with Thomas Tuchel.

After being on the sidelines for a year, the 44-year-old was appointed as the head coach of Everton in January 2022.

Therefore, speaking to Football Daily, the Toffees' boss opened up on his time at Goodison Park and how feels 'at home' in Merseyside.

“I got the opportunity to come to this club, it’s an amazing club, and I just want to win. I want to do well, to make us better.

“Part of that is to fully immerse yourself in it in all senses. I’ve found that relatively easy because people have welcomed me.

“I love living in this part of the world. I don’t miss London in that sense. I enjoy going back on certain days off but I really enjoy being here.”
