Hugo Lloris has reacted to Tottenham fans booing the club defender Davinson Sanchez during the club's game against Bournemouth.
The Spurs faced a 3 - 2 defeat to the Cherries in the Premier League clash on Saturday. Son Heung-min's and Arnaut Danjuma's goals were not enough to secure three points from the meeting.
Sanchez was subbed in to replace Clement Lenglet who suffered an injury in the first half of the game. The defender didn't get a warm welcome by the club supporters who started booing.
Lloris was not impressed to see the Spurs' fans reaction and share a few words about the case after the match.
“It started earlier, it’s not when he left the pitch, it’s when he came on. I’ve never seen this in my career," the club captain said, via HITC.
“I feel really bad for Davinson. He’s a team-mate, he’s a friend and he’s been fighting for the club for many, many years now, and it’s just sad. The story is sad for the club, for the fans, for the player. It’s something you don’t want to see in football,” he added.
