Huge update emerges on Wesley Fofana amid Chelsea injury setback

Chelsea faced Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly game and celebrated a 5-1 victory on Tuesday as Kai Havertz formed a hat-trick.

The Blues are preparing for the Premier League return following the World Cup break. Graham Potter's side will face Bournemouth on Tuesday, December 27 at Stamford Bridge.

During the friendly game, Wesley Fofana suffered an injury. The center-back has made an overall 6 appearances for Chelsea as he had been dealing with a knee injury.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Fofana is expected to make his return in three or four weeks following the new injury in the friendly game.
