Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has opened up on Cedric Soares' situation at Arsenal.
Cedric has been linked with the move away from the club amid his limited playing time under Mikel Arteta. The right-back's current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires in the summer of 2024.
Bridge now claims the player would be open to leaving Arsenal in the near future.
“For example, there’s a lot of interest in Cedric and my understanding is he wants to move on, but Arsenal won’t allow that unless they bring someone else in," he said, via HITC.
“I think, at Arsenal, maybe we’ll see one or two coming in and one or two going out in January. But I think it would be quality coming in and surplus going out.”
