Dele Alli left Tottenham Hotspur on Deadline Day to complete a move to Everton.
Earlier that day, the Toffees also signed Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United and appointed Frank Lampard as their new head coach.
Before joining Everton, Spurs offered Alli to an 'unnamed' Turkish club, and the transfer was reportedly almost done.
However, Süper Lig side’s president Murat Sancak claimed that the deal got collapsed after Lampard’s appointment was confirmed.
“We made a deal with Tottenham for Dele Alli. They were going to give us a loan. Even his brother came to Turkey." Sancak said.
