Harry Kane has claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo is a "great manager" after his appointment as Tottenham head coach.
After many countless talks, Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici finally landed Jose Mourinho's replacement with the former Wolves boss confirmed as new manager last Wednesday.
And admitting in an interview with
talkSPORT that he has not spoken to his new Spurs boss, Kane has delivered his verdict on Espirito Santo and praised the job he did at Wolves.
“Whenever a new manager comes in, I guess there’s a level of excitement around the club. Obviously, I’ve not been there and not had any contact with him," Spurs striker explained.
“I’m away with England now and my full focus is on here. Hopefully, we’ve got a week left.
“He’s a great manager and did a great job at Wolves and got them playing a really good way.
“Let’s get back and I’m sure we’ll be in contact after the tournament.”
Kane currently prepares to captain England in a Euro 2020 semi-final on Wednesday, as they face Denmark at Wembley.
