Harry Kane claims Liverpool star is the best Premier League player he has faced

Harry Kane has named Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk as the best player he has squared off against in the Premier League. Spurs striker labeled the Dutchman as a fantastic defender and praised how consistent he has been for the Reds over a number of years and has picked up where he has left off after recovering from his knee injury which saw the 30-year-old sidelined for nine months (Sky Sports). Speaking to Amazon Prime Video Sport, Kane said:

"Van Dijk’s a fantastic defender. He’s been consistent now for Liverpool over many years. Obviously, won the Premier League and the Champions League. Tough defender, he’s been doing great this year after his injury last year.”
