On Wednesday, June 29, it was confirmed that Romelu Lukaku would return to Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal for the upcoming campaign.
Lukaku has been Inter player from 2019 to 2021 before he rejoined the Blues, having played for them from 2011 to 2014.
During his time with Serie A side, the 29-year-old made 95 appearances in which he scored 64 goals and provided 16 assists.
Taking to Instagram, Lukaku shared a message as he wrote: "I am really happy to be with you again. I can't wait to start working with the team ... Forza Inter😊🖤💙."
He received many comments, one of which was from Hakim Ziyech who replied in the comments section with two emojis: "🤞🏽❤️."
