Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been appointed Arsenal's captain after team voting has been held earlier.
Switzerland international has captained in 6 matches out of 8 in 2019/20 Premier League season.
In an interview with VBET UK, Switzerland international said:
“[It] was never a dream. It’s not the first time I’m a captain. I was [a captain] in Germany as well, in Swiss national team [as well].”
“[Being captain in Arsenal] of course, it is something special. As I said before, [Arsenal] are a big club with a big history and it makes me proud to be the captain.“ he added.
