Former Crystal Palace defender Danny Gabbidon has raved about Gabriel Martinelli, claiming the Brazilian "got so much better" under the boss Mikel Arteta.
Sunday's Premier League game against Crystal Palace saw Arsenal celebrating another win in their hopes to lift the title this season. Following the result, they are leading the domestic league, eight points clear of the second-placed Manchester City.
Martinelli was on the scoresheet for Arsenal against the Eagles along with his teammates Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka.
Gabbidon who watched the latest game named the difference he notices between Martinelli's past and present performances.
“You look at the progression of Martinelli, in and around the final third, his decision making has got so much better. Always chooses the right option now. When to pass, when to shoot. It’s a fantastic finish. A goal of such quality," he said on BBC’s Match of the Day.
