Danny Murphy has advised Mauricio Pochettino to give Mykhailo Mudryk an opportunity to shine for Chelsea.
The Ukrainian forward was signed by the Blues from Shakhtar Donetsk at the beginning of the year in a substantial £88.5 million deal.
However, despite the high expectations that accompanied his arrival, the 22-year-old has had a disappointing start to his Premier League journey.
His performances have been lackluster, and he appears to be struggling with confidence issues, leading Pochettino to opt for Ben Chilwell, typically a left-back, as an alternative left-winger.
Speaking on the Vibe with Five YouTube channel, the pundit claimed that he believes it's time to have more faith in the Ukraine international.
“Chelsea need a left-winger to play instead of where Ben Chilwell is playing because he’s a left-back. Give Mykhailo Mudryk five or six games! See.”
