Chelsea won the Champions League title on Saturday, after beating Manchester City in the final. The Blues dipped into the transfer market last summer, bringing in several high profile names, including misfiring striker Timo Werner and Champions League goalscorer Kai Havertz. But they need to do the same in the upcoming summer transfer window, so Thomas Tuchel has the opportunity to define a new era at Stamford Bridge. And Champions League's highest goalscorer Erling Haaland is one of them. The Borussia Dortmund star is one of the best strikers in the world and the Blues could nip in ahead of their European rivals, signing him before his release clause activates next year. Former Chelsea academy player Declan Rice has been in fine form for West Ham and country this season, guiding his club into the Europa League. The Blues could secure Rice by sending his England teammate Tammy Abraham in the opposite direction, or offer a sum of up to £100m. Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is available for free this summer having turned down a new contract at AC Milan, could be another signing for Chelsea. He would be a good alternative to Edouard Mendy. The Blues may still want to refresh their backline, and PSG captain Marquinhos looks a likely option. Chelsea could reunite the Brazilian with national team skipper Thiago Silva and boss Tuchel, both formerly of PSG.
