Fernandinho has taken to Twitter to send a message as he is leaving Manchester City after 9 years.
The Brazilian joined City in 2013 and upon his contract expiry, the 37-year-old is leaving City and will return to Brazil as he has signed for Athletico Paranaense, where he started his career.
During his time with the Premier League side, Fernandinho has made overall 383 appearances in which he scored 26 goals and provided 33 assists.
The 37-year-old became Premier League champion with City 5 times and also won FA Cup, EFL Cup (5 times), FA Community Shield and was a runner-up in the Champions League 2020/2021 season.
