<p>Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on&nbsp;Diogo Dalot&rsquo;s future at Manchester United as his&nbsp;current contract expires in the summer of 2023.</p>

<p>According to Romano, the Red Devils have&nbsp;decided to push on&nbsp;Dalot&rsquo;s new contract and the meeting is expected following the World Cup.</p>

<p>Dalot is currently representing Portugal in Qatar 2022 as they have reached the quarter-finals and will face Morocco on Saturday.</p>

<p>During the World Cup, the 23-year-old has made 2 appearances in which he has provided one assist.</p>

<p>Dalot made overall 20 appearances for the Red Devils before the World Cup break in which he has scored one goal and provided two assists.</p>

<p>Romano also shared an update on United&#39;s defense.&nbsp;</p>
