Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Arsenal's pursuit of David Raya.
Gunners have been recently linked with the move for the player, with USMNT and backup keeper Matt Turner potentially moving to Nottingham Forest this summer.
Romano claims Raya prefers joining Arsenal instead of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
The potential deal is now in the hands of the clubs, and the Gunners are likely to submit a bid soon to expedite discussions. Negotiations with Bayern have hit a roadblock after they offered a loan deal earlier, which was not in line with what the player or Brentford had in mind.
