Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Alex Iwobi's future at Everton following the World Cup campaign.
The 26-year-old has been a key player in Frank Lampard's squad so far this season, recording one goal and five assists for his team. He has recently returned to the club from international duty with Nigeria national team in Qatar.
Iwobi's current deal with the Toffees expires in the summer of 2024. According to Romano, the club are eager to sign a contract extension with him.
