Fabrizio Romano provides exciting news on Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has repeated his earlier claims over a new contract for Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk with some fresh information. Earlier this month,  Italian reports claim that Liverpool were working on new deals for Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Van Dijk. Now, the transfer specialist has elaborated on his earlier information regarding Van Dijk. In an article for CBS Sports, Romano claims that negotiations with the £75 million man are set to begin in the coming months. Van Dijk’s current deal runs until June 2023, according to Transfermarkt. However, it seems as if Liverpool are keen to both tie him down for even longer, and reward him for his unbelievable efforts prior to his injury.
