Expected Tottenham line-up in the Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade

Football-Talk has predicted Tottenham’s possible line-up against Red Star Belgrade in the upcoming Champions League clash. Goalkeeper: Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to start as a goalkeeper as Hugo Lloris has been ruled out for several weeks. Gazzaniga also stated in the 1-1 draw with Watford at the weekend. Defence: Pochettino may start a flat back four with Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen playing alongside, as Toby Alderweireld tipped for a rest.  Ben Davies is likely to replace Danny Rose as Pochettino rotates his full-back options while Juan Foyth is expected to make his long-awaited comeback with a start at right-back having overcome his injury issues. Serge Aurier is expected to drop out. Midfield: Pochettino confirmed at the weekend that either Ryan Sessegnon or Giovani Lo Celso will be back in the squad on Tuesday but he didn’t’ reveal which one it would be. Sessegnon has just recovered from a hamstring injury and hasn’t played at all this season, so more likely Lo Celso will be recalled. Harry Winks is set to be rested with Tanguy Ndombele. Eric Dier is also pushing for a recall but probably Moussa Sissoko will retain his place in the Tottenham midfield this evening. Attack: Christian Eriksen could be back in contention this evening and most likely he’ll be in Spurs starting eleven if fit. Heung-min Son made a big difference when he was introduced against Watford so Pochettino can bring him back into the squad. Dele Alli scored on Saturday’s draw with Watford but he’s unlikely to be risked again as starting him twice in four days might not be the best idea as he’s had issues with his hamstring this season. Lucas Moura is more likely to drop to the bench so Erik Lamela will be in-line for a recall with supporting Harry Kane up front. Here is the expected Tottenham line-up:

Raheem Sterling claims what he needs to do to be mentioned in same terms as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
