Ex-Aston Villa and Newcastle midfielder Solano DENIES breaking self-isolation rules and ATTENDING party
Former Aston Villa and Newcastle midfielder Norberto Solano has denied the rumors that he broke self-isolation rules and attended a home party with his friends. As reported earlier, a former Peru national team star has been arrested in his homeland after breaking quarantine rules amid the coronavirus outbreak. Solano and his former-teammate Pablo Zeggara were detained by the police after neighbors calling and claiming they were playing loud music, local news outlet Peru 21 reports. 43-year-old former Premier League star has now told the Chronicle his version of the story (via Birmingham Live): "I was 200 yards from my house. I went with my missus for our lunch with the kids."There were five people and because somebody heard some music they rang the TV programme and they turned up."We had to go to the police station because everybody gets treated the same here. They asked what we were doing and I said it was not a party. It was a meeting of friends not a party."
