Jurgen Klopp holds the future of Marko Grujic in his hands, according to Bild. The Liverpool boss is going to decide the midfielder’s future after closely watching him at the Reds’ preseason camp.
Spending another season on loan at Hertha Berlin, there’s a desire at the German club to keep him at the club for the next campaign. Liverpool signed Grujic in 2016.
Bild explain that Grujic has already bought a property in Berlin, and if he can’t make it at Liverpool then Hertha remains a ‘dream’ club for him. The Serbian has learned German and feels at home in the Bundesliga.
Now ‘everything depends on Klopp’ and what the manager decides to do. Then, if he feels an exit is the right way forward, the two clubs will need to work on agreeing a transfer fee.
