Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney are linked with Everton, following the sacking of Rafael Benitez.
Reports claim that the Toffees are reportedly set to interview Rooney and Lampard for the manager's job at Goodison Park.
According to the
Telegraph, the two Premier League legends are on a four-strong shortlist of managers the club are set to interview.
Speaking earlier today (January 18), Curtis Davies told talkSPORT he doesn't know what the future holds for the Derby County manager.
"No," Davies responded when asked if he has had a conversation with Rooney about the Everton links.
"At the moment, I don't know and I wouldn't be disrespectful enough to ask the manager directly.
"But I think it's trying to put two and two together in terms of Everton having no manager and an Everton legend doing really well.
"Where it goes from here, I don't know, but it's not for us to worry about. The manager's here and he'll be preparing us for the weekend's game as always."
