Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement with Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
The Bundesliga team are making the final steps to complete the Switzerland international's move to the Allianz Arena as Manuel Neuer is set to be on the sidelines until the end of the season due to fracturing his leg while skiing.
As ESPN reported last month, Manchester United were rumored to get the Gladbach keeper's signature on a free transfer next summer, considering him a successor for David De Gea who most likely would leave Old Trafford after his 12 year-spell at the club.
Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Sommer 'ONLY wants to join Bayern' and is ready to sign a contract until 2025 with the club.
