Erling Haaland's father has made Manchester United claim amid Chelsea links

Manchester United and Chelsea have been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland recently. Interestingly, his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, has already spoken about the United links and made a comparison to Borussia Dortmund. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wanted the 20-year-old before Dortmund triggered his £17.1million release clause in his Red Bull Salzburg contract in January 2020. But United missed out on the Norway international, who has been a revelation since moving to Signal Iduna Park just over 12 months ago. Speaking about reported interest from United, Alf-Inge Haaland made an interesting comparison between the Manchester club and Dortmund. “Manchester United have achieved great success in recent years,” the former Manchester City and Leeds United player told German outlet Sport1. "The club is also trying to build something new there. But to draw comparison now is not so easy because he (Erling) is already playing in Dortmund. “These are two very traditional clubs with a large fan base and a glorious history. Man United is a very proud club, just like Dortmund in Germany.” Source- Daily And Sunday Express Join us on Telegram
