Erik ten Hag has sent a message to Manchester United players following the defeat against Sevilla.
United faced Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals and suffered a defeat over two-legged games. In the first leg, the Red Devils blew a 2-0 lead as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, in the second leg, Sevilla celebrated a 3-0 victory and eliminated United with a 5-2 overall score.
United prepare to face Brighton in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday, April 23.
Speaking ahead of the game, ten Hag said: "I think we always playing for our future as professional players. Every game is a test, every season is a test, you have to earn the right to wear the shirt. It’s for me as a manager. We are in the same boat.
"During the season we make huge progress. We have the experience but we have a way to go. A good thing is Sunday is a huge opportunity, semi-final of the FA Cup, a better event you can’t imagine, after that a lot of great games to go, we have to prove it and this group of players has to prove it."
