Doctor gives positive outlook on return for Raul Jimenez to Wolves squad

Recently, there’s been a stream of good news regarding the recovery of Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raul Jimenez. On Thursday, the player’s father has spoken to the Mexican press and explained that everything is going fine, as there won’t be any long term consequences of the injury. The local media managed to talk to a specialist to find out how long it will take until Jimenez finally returns to the pitch, as outlet Medio Tiempo interviewed Dr. Erick Ulises Zepeda Fernandez. “If Raul didn’t have any neurological injury, the recovery is smooth because there’s no deficit and if he had a brain injury the recovery is a little longer with different treatments. The most common is a sunken fracture without neurological injury,” said Dr. Fernandez, specialist in neurosurgery. “Normally a bone in any part of the body takes between three and four weeks to heal. If he didn’t have a neurological injury, he could be on the pitch in a month, but I think it will take a little longer to recover physically at his level, but this is if there was no brain injury. “Skull fractures do not necessarily have to be linked to neurological injury and Raul’s injury was surely a sunken fracture, which are the ones that must necessarily be taken to the operating room.” Source- Sport Witness Join us on Telegram
