Dimitar Berbatov makes predictions on Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest and Arsenal vs Manchester United

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has made predictions on Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest and Arsenal vs Manchester United, Premier League matches that will take place this weekend.

Chelsea will look to extend their winning run to three matches when they host Nottingham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, following wins over Luton Town last weekend in the league and 2-1 win over Wimbledon in the EFL Cup.

Nottingham will want a response from last weekend's 3-2 defeat at Manchester United after they went 2-0 up inside four minutes but searching for a win in London against Mauricio Pochettino's side that has mastered how to hold possession of the ball looks like a stretch.

While Berbatov believes the Tricky Trees were unlucky last time out, he believes Steve Cooper's side wouldn't get on the scoresheet as Chelsea may go on to be the surprise team of the season.

Speaking to Betfari, the Bulgarian said: "Nottingham Forest were unlucky against Manchester United, but when you lead two-nil then you need to know how to keep the lead.

"I think Chelsea can be a surprise team this season with everybody not expecting much because of how they did last season, but I think they have the quality to do something big this season, so I will go with them to win."
Prediction: 2-0

Manchester United will search to end their winless run of five matches at the Emirates on Sunday but Berbatov believes Erik ten Hag's poor form away from home against the big guns may see them walk away with a point, which he believes would be a fair result for the Red Devils.

Berbatov added: "I want to see goals and entertainment, but points are the most important. I'd like to see Kai Havertz play and see what he can really do, he has everything to prove he's a good player.

"Hopefully he can start and get involved and play his best with his passing. Although I want to see a United win, I think this will be a tricky game and leaving the Emirates with a point won't be bad considering how United have done away from home recently."
Prediction: 2-2
