Moyes joined West Ham in 2017 with a six-month contract at the club come to an end on May 13, 2018, prompting his departure.
However, he made a comeback to his former role as manager to London Stadium on December 29, 2019, signing an 18-month contract to replace Manuel Pellegrini, who had left the team in a precarious 17th position on the Premier League table, with just a one-point lead over the relegation zone.
