Despite the possibility of Leicester City being relegated this season, it is anticipated that Jamie Vardy will continue to stay at the club.
The striker is regarded as a club legend, having previously turned down a transfer to Arsenal and displaying a strong commitment to the team throughout their successful period in the Premier League.
Although the Foxes' future in the top flight is uncertain due to their current battle with relegation, however, the continuity of the 36-year-old's presence in the team, along with other key players at the King Power Stadium, could potentially be in question.
Meanwhile, according to a report in the Leicester Mercury, former player Darren Bent claimed he believes that Vardy will remain dedicated to the club, regardless of their future circumstances.
“I can’t see him joining anyone else. That’s what I got from that interview, that he is firmly committed to staying at Leicester now, if the worst comes to the worst and they do go down, I’m pretty sure he’ll be there with them."
“I think going into next season, if the worst comes to the worst and they go down, I think you’d have a highly-motivated Jamie Vardy to get them straight back up.”
