Brazil are considered to be one of the best teams in the world and ahead of every tournament where they participate, whether it's a Copa America or a World Cup, they are usually considered to be favorites of winning the tournament or reaching the final.
Brazil are preparing for the World Cup Qualifying games. They will face Ecuador and Paraguay this month. Following the qualifiers, Seleção will face Venezuela in the Copa America group stage game later in June.

Alves was initially called up to the squad however he has now been
ruled out due to a knee injury and Emerson Royal will now replace him.
