Chris Sutton has given his prediction for the upcoming FA Cup clash between Newport County and Manchester United.
The two sides are set to face each other in the fourth round of the tournament on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Newport reached this stage by beating Oldham, Barnet and Eastleigh on their way. The Red Devils, meanwhile, beat Wigan Atheltic in the third round.
Ahead of Sunday's meeting, Sutton shared his thoughts, backing Erik ten Hag's side to be the winners with the scoreline of 3 - 0.
"I don't think they [Newport] will knock Manchester United out, though. This is a tricky away tie to negotiate, but let's get it right, if Erik ten Hag's side were to lose to a League Two team then it would be one of the most embarrassing results in the club's history," the pundit said on BBC Sport.
"So, I am going to be positive about United, they will have too much for Newport - it should be comfortable, and I even think they will keep a clean sheet."
