Former Premier League star Chris Sutton believes Marcus Rashford's goal shouldn't be counted by Martin Atkinson.
Mamchester United opened the score-sheet against Merseyside club after the counter-attack, which started from Victor Lindelef's challenge against Divock Origi.
After the VAR review Atkinson didn't change his decision, which has now become number 1 topic for discussion.
"This is getting silly now. It’s either a foul or it’s not, and this challenge by Victor Lindelof on Divock Origi was definitely a foul. This whole ‘clear and obvious’ excuse has become a cop out." Sutton wrote on Daily Mail.
"The television replays showed Origi getting kicked in the calf. How obvious do you want it? It was in the same attacking phase as Marcus Rashford’s goal, too, so VAR should have ruled it out.
"This was a huge moment in a huge match, and the officials got it wrong for me. It is incidents such as this that make me lose faith in VAR." Sutton added.
Adam Lallana' late equalizer secured a point for Liverpool, however, MU ended Jurgen Klopp's winning streak of 17 matches.
