Chelsea have been given permission to hold talks with Frank Lampard by Derby ahead of his proposed summer move.
The 41-year-old is imminently expected to take over from Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard is expected to be handed a three-year deal worth
£12million to become Chelsea’s new manager.
Should Lampard accept he will earn
£4m-per-year, his weekly salary would be in the region of
£84.000-a-week, making him one of the world’s highest-paid players. He would be earning over
£334.000 a month,
£11.904 -a-day,
£496 per hour,
£8 a minute.
Lampard spent 13 years and made 648 appearances, winning 11 trophies. It's anticipated Lampard, 41, will appoint former Blues academy boss Jody Morris as his assistant.
According to the Telegraph, Lampard will be given only one year to prove himself as a qualified manager.
