Chelsea U14 player trained with the first team as a reward

On May 11, Chelsea gave U14 captain Charlie Holland the opportunity to train with the first team as a reward for leading his team to victory in the Albert Phelan Cup South.

In the final, Chelsea's U14 team defeated Fulham 5-0 to claim the cup. Holland was given the chance to train with the senior team in preparation for their upcoming Premier League match against Nottingham Forest due to his exceptional performances throughout the tournament.

Being called up to train with the first team is a memorable experience, especially for a U14 player, as it's usually reserved for the U18s or U21s. Although younger players are often present at the training ground, they don't often get the chance to interact with the senior players. Therefore, Holland's promotion to the first team training session is an exceptional accomplishment.
