Chelsea are reportedly set to make their final offer for Deivid Washington from Santos.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Pochettino's side are increasingly confident about securing the 18-year-old forward's signature within this week. A proposed €20 million offer from the Premier League outfit seems likely to gain approval from Santos.
While the young player has attracted interest from various European clubs, he seems to have a strong desire to join Chelsea during this summer window. Upon finalization, the promising striker is poised to join Strasbourg on a loan basis. Given his age and developmental stage, regular playing time is imperative, and Chelsea acknowledges their inability to provide him with the required platform for that.
Meanwhile, the Blues are actively seeking a reliable goal-scorer this summer and are exploring connections with several strikers, including the likes of Dusan Vlahović from Juventus.
