Chelsea have officially submitted an offer for Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians just hours before the end of the summer transfer window.
Despite already investing close to £350 million in new signings this summer and approximately £900 million since Todd Boehly's arrival in May 2022, the Blues are showing no signs of slowing down. After waving goodbye to up to 15 players this season, the Chelsea squad keeps transforming.
Manchester City's winger, Cole Palmer, is on the brink of finalizing his £40 million transfer to Stamford Bridge. However, the club's activity doesn't end there, as they have reportedly made a bid for the 17-year-old talent Moscardo.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, "Chelsea have formally presented an offer to Corinthians for Gabriel Moscardo, a highly talented individual born in 2005." Other sources indicate that the Brazilian club want just €25m for their young talent.
"It’d be a signing for the future," highlighted Romano, who also informed that discussions between the clubs are on-going. If the deal is reached before the end of Friday, Corinthians would have made a record-breaking transfer in the club's history.
