Ben Chilwell is facing a short period on the sidelines due to a recent injury, as reported by The Evening Standard.
According to the report, the 26-year-old underwent a scan for a hamstring issue he sustained during the Carabao Cup victory against Brighton this week.
Chilwell is expected to be out of action for approximately four weeks, which will also rule him out of international duty with England during the upcoming break.
The report further confirms that the left-back is "certain" to miss Chelsea's next two matches before the international fixtures, specifically the Premier League games against Fulham and Burnley.
Fortunately, he will have a two-week period during the international break to aid his recovery, with the hope that he won't miss several additional matches.
This marks his third hamstring injury since the start of the previous season, and his frequent spells on the injury list are unsettling, particularly when considering the similar situation with Reece James, the team's captain.
