Chelsea defend Eden Hazard following his PFA Team of the Year omission

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been named n the PFA Team of the Year, while Chelsea forward Eden Hazard missed out. The team was revealed on Thursday and is dominated by stars from title-chasers Liverpool and Manchester City. And this is something Chelsea look to have disputed, releasing an article breaking down Hazard’s “outstanding stats”. "Our no.10 is enjoying an outstanding season full of eye-catching moments and his non-selection is being widely described as a surprise omission. Certainly, his headline statistics from the current season cannot have counted against him when the votes were cast," said in a statement. Here are the stats released by Chelsea.
