Celtic given boost as true Mohamed Elyounoussi transfer cost emerges

Celtic have Mohamed Elyounoussi on a season-long loan from Premier League side Southampton . It was rumoured Saints had paid Swiss side Basel £16m to sign him back in 2018. According to Daily Star, that fee was closer to £12m with another £4m to follow in potential add-ons. Boss Ralph Hasenhuttl green lit his loan move to Celtic and he looks unlikely to change his mind and give him another go. It's understood Celtic would have to table a bid around the £9m mark to get Elyounoussi on a permanent deal. That's the same price they paid to get Odsonne Edouard from Paris St-Germain two years ago. Source- Daily Star
